<p>Hello all! I recently acquired a Nikon FM from a local thrift store. Being such a small camera and as I have large hands and long fingers, I purchased a Nikon MD-12.<br /> <img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1485/26511835400_bcb6574e42_z.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="393" /></p> <p>I was having a dickens of a time getting the MD-12 to work when mounted on the camera. I read many different posts on the internet about recalcitrant MD-11 and MD-12 motor winders discussing everything from "out of sequence" to just plain DOA. <p>Thanks Patrick! I love my D7100 but I just can't let go of film. The really nice thing I've found out about the Nikon platform is that it is very backwards compatible for their lenses, without having to use adapters.</p> <p>Mike :D</p>

<p>Hello all!</p> <p>Some new Nikon acquisitions that have found a home with me. The first is a Nikon F90X film camera with a MB10 grip-</p> <p><img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1458/24790998989_274661db01_z.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="430" /> <br> It came with a AF Nikkor 28-200mm f3.5-5.6 D lens but is seen here with a AF Nikkor 50mm f1.8 D lens that I recently purchased.</p> <p>Like most N/F90's it suffered from sticky back syndrome. I cleaned it up as much as I could using alcohol but I could not get all of the residue off.<br> <img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1501/25158739705_fd35d982f5_z.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="427" /><br> I ended up cutting a piece of textured self-adhesive vinyl running board tape and fitting it to the back</p> <p>The next item is the Nikon SC-17 flash cable. I do have to give the man credit though, he's not afraid to get different angles for his photographs...</p> <p>As per your question Howard, the car is a home built affair based on a heavily modified model A roadster body and frame with much custom metal work. The engine is a Ford flathead V8 that has been "massaged" to increase the horsepower.</p> <p>Mike :D</p>
