randy_cooprider1 Posted June 22, 2013 Share Posted June 22, 2013 Got busy this evening and almost forgot to start the posting. I have two more beercan shots of birds. Send up some of your pics with the long side no more than 700 pixels.

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

david_smith110 Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013
I went out to shoot some macro in a local out of the way wooded area and instead found a young photographer and friend of his pulling up at the same time. We talked photography and cameras a while (including his hacked Canon DSLR) before they invited me to go shoot with them. All I had on me was the little Tessar lensed Yashica ML Macro 55/4 mounted on my NEX 7/speedbooster combo (I was there to shoot bugs after all). I just had to make do with what I had.

her place in the world

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

howardstanbury Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013
I like the varied pictures we get from such a diverse range of cameras under the 'Sony/Minolta' label - an excellent crop this week.

First off, here's a close up of the basic workings of a 25-pounder field gun, at the National War Museum of Scotland, in Edinburgh (NEX-7 and Sigma E 30mm f/2.8)

<a title="25 pounder field gun / detail 2 by FlickrDelusions, on Flickr" href=" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2825/9097337216_6cd7da5320_c.jpg" alt="25 pounder field gun / detail 2" width="800" height="664" />

Then two pictures taken with a Minolta XE-1, MD Rokkor 50mm f/1.4, and Kodak Gold Ultra 400 dated Oct-1997, rated at ISO 200, and developed in Ilford Microphen

<a title="The shark by FlickrDelusions, on Flickr" href=" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3796/9089863748_ea077d8b1c_c.jpg" alt="The shark" width="800" height="453" />

^1 The Headington Shark

<a title="Grave stone by FlickrDelusions, on Flickr" href=" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5325/9089862370_35fe24df9d_c.jpg" alt="Grave stone" width="800" height="531" />

2 ^ Gravestone detail
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
