gerald_wallace
(Not sure about the category). I keep getting a trial offer from Adobe for CS6 Extended which prevents me from processing my pictures (in CS6) - can't get rid of the offer to continue processing pictures. I have been getting this same problem for about a year of more. I don't want my processing held hostage to the trial offer. After a week or two the offer goes away and I can gain access to my pictures for processing until the "offer" returns. I'm sure I'm not the only one having this problem with Adobe's sales offer. Any help would be appreciated.

Richard Williams
Are you saying you have a full licence for PS CS6 Extended, but it's behaving like a trial version? Have you tried reinstalling and reactivating? The installers are here:
http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html
gerald_wallace
I have been using CS6 ever since it became available (one time purchase). Several times a year (for several years) I have been getting a trial offer for CS6 EXTENDED. The trial offer prevents me from working on new photo's - the trial offer CANNOT be deleted. I have to wait until Adobe decides to remove/cancel their advertisement before I have access to any of my unprocessed pictures! (In the past I purchased and used CS3 EXTENDED). I hope this clarification is helpful. Thanks for your response.
Spearhead
Have you called Adobe? The last update for CS6 was in 2013 so it's unlikely anyone there is thinking about any type of update.
1 Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
gerald_wallace
Jeff, thanks for the thought. I didn't think it was possible to contact Adobe by telephone? Don't have their telephone number or any way to contact them. The last time I tried their phone had been disconnected.
Spearhead
Sorry, I didn't see your response here. This is the number for Adobe support - 1 (800) 833-6687 It works although not on the weekend.
1 Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
gerald_wallace
Jeff, thanks for your help by providing Adobe's telephone number however, the phone number is only available for paying customers. I will try going to Adobe on-line (www.adobe.com/getsupport) and see what happens. I'm still being blocked from having access to my picture by the trial offer for cs6 expended.
gerald_wallace
Update. There was no way I could contact Adobe (short of buying something) so I accepted there trial offer. Now I'm still bombarded with the trial offer but, I can click it off which puts the offer in the background (it never goes away) so I can continue to work. At the end of the 30 day trial I will see what happens.
gerald_wallace
Update. The 30 day trial period for Adobe Photoshop Extended has ended and I'm locked out (prevented) from opening or gaining access to my pictures. Does any one have an estimate on how long Adobe will prevent me from accessing my pictures? Thanks for your help.
