JosvanEekelen
Again a lot of spam. Wouldn't it be a good idea to limit the number of posts from new subscribers to let's say one per day for the first month of membership and to introduce a waiting period of one hour for the first posting? Just a suggestion, I don't know if it's technically possible or not too difficult to implement.
ChrisSpeaker
Spam in the Nikon forum too. Waiting period for new members sounds like a good idea to me.

JDMvW
discussion of these suggestions at http://www.photo.net/site-help-forum/00dwqW?unified_p=1
By the bye, there are participants here who are not moderators but have the ability to "nuke" obvious spam.
SCL
I typically make a copy and send it to Glenn Palm. But it is definitely getting tiresome of late.
Matt Laur
I killed three dozen or so this morning (or was that last night?). Have previously suggested cap on new member repeat posts, or at least the ability to batch-mark all of a new user's same-day posts as spam if an authorized user marks one of them as spam. This is trivial coding, guys.
dhbebb
Now it's in "Accessories - Filters, Bags, Tripods". What the heck is it all about? Is the spammer trying to get someone to open an attachment and release malware or is he just a jerk who enjoys wasting people's time?
