mjferron
I picked up a OM1n with a CPC Phase II 24mm 2.8 lens for short money. Took it out for a walk today. Never heard of this lens before but it's well made and seems to be a decent performer @ F 5.6-F8.

rick_drawbridge
The recent thread relating to the 50mm Fujinon f/2.2 lens reminded me that it's been a couple of years since I exercised the Fujica ST605N, the SLR camera which usually wears this lens. So, I loaded a roll of Kentmere 100 and took the camera with me to town this morning, and here are a few images from my wanderings. Development was in PMK Pyro, scans from an Epson V700 using Silverfast SE software.

Tony Evans
Mike agree with you entirely. Portra 160 is the best, and Reala much better than Fujicolor. T.
Tony Evans
Tony Evans
Mike,
Here on the Island I don't know who does the developing. I hand them in to Kerrisdale Cameras here in Victoria and they send them out somewhere. The Fuji looks pretty bad but I have had them do Portra and they were excellent. Don Harpold
Hello
Can someone tell me why this looks so soft on this site and looks right on Flickr
Here is the link to it on Flickr and it is much sharper

Julio Fernandez
Have no idea, Don. Sometimes when scaling down an image the sharpness seems to get lost. Especially in a picture like this one where the sharp interesting details (for instance the face) is concentrated in a small area.

Waterbirds, Exakta VXIIb with Flektogon 35mm/2.8, Pan F+.

Mike Gammill
You might could apply the lightest sharpening and see if that improves things without making it look artificially sharpened.
Don Harpold
Hello
Thanks
I did use some sharpening and thought I had enough without as you say making it look artificial
It does appear sharper and more like what I saw on my screen
I know it was a little soft to begin with but the sharpening helped
Oh well I will just have to watch my focus better next time, this was the first time I had used the camera in about 15 years so I am just happy it came back with something on it and no leaks
Bill Bowes
Hello everyone. Another "new" CMC at the house. This time a Fed-3 & Industar 61 from a fellow in Canada. About an hour of exercising the camera, a drop or two of lube and I ventured forth to "My Marina" for a test roll. Several small pin holes in the shutter curtain, but overall, in very good shape. mjferron
Mike I just sold 12 rolls Reala on big auction site. was refrigerated and sitting around as I don't shoot much color. Wish I knew someone here still liked it.
Mike Gammill
Thanks, Michael. I have thought about looking for some, but I've made the transition to Portra and still use some Fuji Superia 200. I think I've only shot one roll of the Ektar 100 but I see some members here getting good results.
I was checking my darkroom fridge earlier and found one unusual Portra in storage: a roll of Portra 100 T. It was quite good under tungsten lighting, but never used much. Last roll of batch. So many places are either using fluorescent or LED lighting that I'm limited as to where I can use it. I might use it this winter possibly.
