Lots of irons in the fire lately, but broke away the other day to invade some good friends' living room and set up to get some head shots of their daughter - she's in next-step-of-the-new-career mode. Always fun to practice the portraiture chops on a friendly victim. Below is a quick behind the scenes shot of the three-light rig and a simple seamless background. Hope everyone's had their cameras in play - share some some photos!

ShunCheung
Violinist Hilary Hahn signed autographs after a recital at the Louise Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco last night (April 26).

All images Nikon D750 with 85mm/f1.4 AF-S @ f2, 1/200 sec and auto ISO between 4000 to 9000. I used auto ISO to get a constant shutter speed fast enough to stop any little motion blur.
