<p>Hello Nikon folks, and a good Wednesday to everyone. Digging through some on-site work done for a client, I came across that favorite folder of files ("../not_used/") where I dump all the stuff I shoot while I'm waiting for the thing I'm there to help with. Here's two of my clients doing some sunset prep work for a big endeavor the following morning. Got anything you shot between shooting? Share some photos!</p><div>00doG2-561512184.jpg.4d8616ee56885bcce347e11e00b1eaae.jpg</div>

<p>Don't think I've posted this before; it was shot as I was walking in to the photo I'd planned to take. The planned pic has the same mountain in the background, but with a foreground I'd found last year - and has a very different feel.</p><div>00doH6-561516984.jpg.4e47abc5eb8d74f5cb56c26b148a2b7a.jpg</div>

<p>Annas Hummingbird<br /> D750 with 200-500mm/f5.6 @ 500mm, f5.6, 1/2000 sec and ISO 800. It is actually all natural sunlight, although it may appear that I have added some fill flash. At the D750's maximum 6.5 fps, I don't have any flash that can keep up with it. It is also a natural setting with no sugar water to attract the birds (although the Pride of Madeira flowers that attract the hummingbirds are not exactly native to the California location, though).</p><div>00doIG-561520084.jpg.5a2b73198886d78787863b9eeaae9105.jpg</div>

<p><img src="/photo/18197636" alt="" />I did not realize there would be two half moon Cayes. Good to know. Here is one from Grand Anse beach in Grenada late in the afternoon. The sun had already dipped below the horizon.</p><div>00doM9-561534984.jpg.9f02299e49f9494741837f07dd22b473.jpg</div>

<p><img src="/photo/18198136" alt="" />Grenada in the Caribbean is called the spice island for good reason. Here is what the nutmeg fruit looks like. The black interior is the nutmeg. The red part is called mace. Botanically, the nutmeg fruit in fact is a drupe like apricot. Once completely ripen, it splits open through its bottom (basal) end to reveal a single, centrally situated oval shaped hard seed (kernel) known commercially as the “nutmeg.” Adhering closely to this nutmeg kernel is crimson-red, lacy or thread like arils known as mace spice. This mace aril is then carefully peeled off its kernel surface either by hand or using a knife, and allowed to dry under shade for 3-4 days. Dried mace arils, which now appear amber in color are then processed and graded before being dispatched for sale.</p><div>00doMF-561535384.jpg.b7369857a7e7bf9010b7f3800b7f31e2.jpg</div>

<p>"Borderland Mayors" - Leticia Salazar, Matamoros, Tamps. and Tony Martinez, Brownsville, Texas. Charro Days parade, Feb. 27, 2015. Notice the heavy police protection and bodyguards. Things are still quite unsettled in Matamoros, Tamps., and other northern Mexico border cities.</p><div>00doNu-561543284.jpg.4aede0ccbc2868d7f7685350cbdc7fe6.jpg</div>
