Bill Bowes
Hello everybody. Most race tracks keep everyone away from the active race surface. Portland Int. Raceway is no exception. The only "up close" spots have massive chain link fences up, so one has to shoot thru them occasionally. Sometimes the "effect" is interesting. K1000 & 200mm, UFX400 @ 250, Obsidian Aqua & V800 scan. Enjoy, Bill

Bill Bowes
To race a non engine controlled kart, the driver must be 16 years of age. Last week saw two birthday kids in karts. Each did a great job and Finished their race! Think you could go pedal to the metal for 30 minutes, 2.97 miles & 11 turns per lap and average over 65 mph each lap? They did.
First the Lady...

Brad Cloven
Three from my CLA-ed M3 with a new-to-me Summicron 50mm f/2 (extensible hood). TMax 400, scanned with Coolscan V ED, VueScan. I'm not happy with the lack of inky blacks. Virtually nowhere in the scans is there a proper black. If anyone knows how to make TMax, Vuescan and the Coolscan hit dark black when it should, please let me know.

#1: (only via manipulation did I get black here)

#2:

#3

Tony Evans
Try out with a new-to-me Nicca 3-F Rangefinder after being inoculated by Greg N's fine work. Thank You Greg, although both my wife and my Bank Manager might say otherwise. Quick "Shoot-em-up" around the local village with Colorfast Plus 200. Scans BSH/V700. Used my favourite lens, Russian, Industar-61 55mm f2.8.
First,

Tony Evans

rick_drawbridge
Three images from a Carl Zeiss Werramatic rangefinder camera, using the 100mm Cardinar f/4 lens. This lens is unique to the Werra cameras, and I realised the other day that I'd used it only rarely, so I tried it out it on a roll of Kentmere 100. It seems to live up to it's reputation for being a pretty good lens. Developer was PMK Pyro, scans from an Epson V700 using Silverfast software.

greg_nixon2
@Brad, I have the same problem when scanning B&W film. The scans look flat and require some sort of post processing. I have tried unsuccessfully to get a decent scan right from the negative, without post processing. If you find a workflow, please share it.
chuck_foreman1
Well Like Rick (great minds think alike ) I was shooting a Wera III RF. I only have the stock 50mm Tessar but I do hope to get the two accessory lens the 35mm Flektogon and the one Rick has here; the 100mm Cardinar. This was my second roll and I used Color. There was two or three very small scratches that ran through the roll on the top. But all in all I was pleased. All my photos are banal and generally cover the 30 minutes to 1 hour walk along the river. These views have probably already been posted but a these landscapes don't change but the skies do!
