hjoseph7 Posted September 6, 2015 Share Posted September 6, 2015
No longer taking pictures from out of my car window ! After 10 years of suffering from severe Arthritis which derailed my budding business in wedding photography, I finally bit the bullet and had surgery done. It will be 6 months until I'm 100%, but already I'm feel a lot better.
Picture #1: Weed after a rainy day

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dorus Posted September 7, 2015 Share Posted September 7, 2015
So I bought my wife a K3-II , and now I'm telling myself I'm still happy with this K5 of mine. MattB.Net Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015
Nice stuff here this week.
Congratulations on your ongoing recovery Harry! I know I have some nagging issues I should get surgery for but keep putting it off. Good to hear you are already feeling the improvement; I hope the trend continues.
.
We went to see what the shelter had one day last week and wound up coming home with this cute little calico.
K-3 & DA* 16-50
<a title="IMGP2185" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">
.
I was hired to shoot a bike race Sunday. 135 Miles and 9000 Ft. of climbing though our West Elk mountain range. Fun day and I'm still sorting through images. This one was from the morning while it was still cool and foggy by the lake. The sun came out soon after this and the rest of the day was perfect cycling weather.
K-5 & DA* 60-250
<a title="IMGP5918-Edit" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">
.
Yesterday my wife and I climbed a nearby mountain that I had previously only climbed to ski. It's nice without snow too! I brought my new Stormtrooper K-S2 which I bought to try the flip screen and because I got one really cheap for $400. I was hoping for a smaller walk around body but there's not a lot of difference in size to the K-5. It's nice to use and the images look good so I think I'll keep it as the walk around. It is a little lighter which is nice on long hikes.
K-S2 & DA 18-135
<a title="IMGP0110-Edit" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">
.
Bonus image at the 12,000 Ft. summit using the K-S2 selfie mode which reassigns the shutter to accommodate holding the camera backwards. Seems to work pretty well but I don't see myself taking that many selfies.
K-S2 & DA 18-135
<a title="IMGP0172" href=" data-flickr-embed="true">
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
snik75 Posted September 9, 2015 Author Share Posted September 9, 2015
But Matt, you look so good in selfie! ;-) I was debating the KS-2 vs. K3 for the flip screen, but am pretty happy with the K3 so far. I like that bike shot! Dorus, I love your shots from the other world, even with a K5. ;-) Doug, I like the snake, and Yuri - i really like that landscape! I love that we can see the top of the telephone pole, thank goodness for 14mm.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
