Nice Douglas, I like the light in the first. That's often the kind of light I'm after. Well caught!
.
I shot this for a local guitar maker. This is his product, the Dobrato. He has been doing well with it and in the CMA's the other night several winning acts used one. He is entering it in a trade show and needed a quick but professional looking couple of shots so I took it home one evening last week and took some photos for him in my basement "studio". This is with a single flash in a shoot-through umbrella to the left and a white wall reflecting light on the right as well as above from the ceiling.
I shot the university chemistry "magic" show again. That's always fun!

PP was done with silver efex plugin. Picture was taken at a art-exhibit in which I participated with photo's.
The wino 'model' was party-crashing and hence didn't care me taking pictures of him.
I had brought a 40mm pentax lens for shooting portrait, but got carried away and shot all with my worst lens, that sigma 18-125mm (not 135 like I said before)

Great shots this week. Nice kick off by Harry, especially picture #3. Superb B/W portrait Dorus. Matt - awesome guitar - I want one. Doug that cave shot really has atmosphere, well done.

Before I post 2 shots; I have a question. Does anyone here shoot with the DA* 200 f/2.8? I have been shooting Football from the sidelines with the HD DA 70 and am considering a longer lens. The AF on the DA* zooms is a tad slow so I'm hoping a prime might be faster. Since migrating to three pancakes (from zooms) I prefer the shooting discipline of primes. If anyone has this lens please share your experience.

Here are two photos...

Not much for me. I have been playing with the film settings in the K50 and really enjoying them. Some settings are outrageous and others are bland, but all are cool and inspiring. So much so, that I purchased some film and dusted of my ME SUPER and Canon AE-1

Also, did you ever own the DA* 200? If so, how did it perform?

Thanks Duane. I had the DA*300, but never the 200. I can tell you that the problem is more likely the autofocus of the body. What you would want to do is pre focus where you think they will end up and give the lens the shortest route to travel focus wise. As far as the DA* LENSES go, they are all pretty darn good. My personal favorite was the DA*50-135F/2.8 Though it is shorter than the 200, you may want to consider this one. It also works very well with a TC, which is what I really liked about it as well. more versatile.
