Hi fellow Pentaxians! (Couldn't find that term in the newest Websters Dictionary, gotta work on that)

I got some nice local images this week, but have more from Costa Rica, so I'll pass along a few of those images.

All taken with a K3.
I took, surprise, surprise a lot of hummingbird photos. I even have some on my student's head (can't post those though).

Following Doug's foot steps I decided to take some pictures of birds, in my apartment that is...

Actually I was testing the much maligned Takumar 135mm f2.5 Bayonet mount($50 ) this weekend. This lens is extremely finicky. Outdoors it flares up at the slightest hint of bright sunlight, giving you that washed-out look.

On an ASP-C it is the equivalent of a 200mm which makes it a little hard to hold. You really have to "squeeze" the shutter very carefully to get a good shot. However, with a little PP it's not too bad.
Picture #1 - 9:00AM to 5:00PM

00dJtp-556999484.jpg.506f8d94a3a6bfef372e85b81c0e98e7.jpg

Asked these two young ladies if I could take their picture. 0nly one spoke English (left), the other one needed a translation, but agreed, as well. They were here from Brazil for a dance competition, leaving tomorrow.
