Robin Smith
You have to pick your reviewers. Some people are techno-geeks and spend their whole time engaged in technobabble, whether they really understand it or not. Many of these people don't take pictures - like some audiophiles who don't listen to music. Others like everything for 5 minutes and then move on to the next great thing. Again the gear seems to be the thing. Others actually take photos and have something interesting to say that is practically useful for providing advice to people wanting to actually use the stuff for practical applications. You have to work out who has useful things to say to you. Sometime it is some mix of all of them.
Robin Smith
Sanford
With no full line camera stores around anymore, at least in my area, we really have to depend on the opinion of these reviewers and there limited experience with a new camera model.
tholte
"there are people moaning about cameras and lenses." Would be kind of silly to whine about your lack of creativity and lack of expertise.
