j_buck
i had 6 undeveloped MF bw film (ilford hp5 and fuji acros) stored in a plastic box in the fridge and somehow water came inside of the box and i noticed it probably after 1-2 weeks. all the film were still factory sealed(carton box + plastic/foliage) are they still usable? or I shouldn't risk it? thanks alot
SCL
If everything was factory sealed, it should be fine.
craig_shearman1
When you open them from their foil wrappers see if there is any sign of water damage. If not, should be fine.

There is no need to keep B&W film in the refrigerator. It will be fine for years at room temperature unless you live someplace unusually hot without air conditioning.
glen_h
Someone recently posted about leaking factory sealed packages.

But normally they should stay sealed and stay dry.

My basement darkroom stays nice and cool, even in the summer, so I keep most film down there.
-- glen
