what does the lever do on the back of Balda Baldax?

<p>So I have a Balda Super Baldax<br>

It has a little lever on the back of the camera. It does not appear to do anything at all. <br>

Does anyone have one of these?</p>

<p>Are you referring to the small toothed lever on the back of the the top cover near the rewind knob? If so, I believe it's the lever for resetting the film counter.</p>

<p>Yes it's used to initialise the frame counter. Matt Denton explains the rather counter-intuitive film winding procedure here:</p>

<p>I found with mine, the frame counter got out of step with the numbers in the red window, perhaps becaise modern films are thicker? Either way its a good idea to practice by running a scrap film through. Its a great camera to use, shame about the film winding system.</p>
