BL meter overexposing

<p>A BL I own overexposes too much. A meter issue of course, and I would liek to ask here if any member knows anyone who can replace the cell or a way to repair.</p>

<p>One of my BL has a faulty meter, I sent it to DAG,but was returned without repair, because parts are not available. I now use it like a Minox III</p>

<p>Indeed this is what I am going to do with it. Some of my cameras are now at DAG, and, alas, Don is out of BL CdS spares. </p>

<p>But...it's a pity we cannot replace the cells in these cameras. Real gems they were and using them cameras without built-in meter (as they were intended to be used) seems like downgrading somehow.</p>

Andy Britten can repair some BL

problems the usual repair is to

replace the meter wholescale.

<p>I asked DAG if BL meter part not available, is it possible to attach a Minox B meter housing to BL, he said its an interesting idea, he may give it a try. However, after a while he returned the BL un serviced. It looks like not an easy task after all.</p>

<p>Hobbies, I knew Andrew had some great skills with meter cells. I was trying to find his address, but it seems I lost it. I know he is someone in the vicinity of Andover, right?</p>
