anthea50
Really terrific shots this week! Stephan, the closed bridge image really resonates with me because the historic Shorncliffe Pier near where I used to live was closed due to safety concerns. Community feeling was strong the need to fix and re-open it (and not make a modern monstrosity to replace it) actually became an election issue. Anyway, here's to memories....

Matt Laur
It doesn't get much more mirrorless than a GoPro. Here, I'm using a Hero 4 Black on a 3D gimbal flying under a small quadcopter to get another shot in a series I'm doing of a tear-down and new construction on a nearby lot. I'm sticking with the smaller aerial rig because I'm flying in a neighborhood, and don't want to send up the bigger rig around trees and nearby rooftops and whatnot.

Andy Collins
Spring thaw! At least I hope it is; it was 72 degrees today here in Indiana, but it'll drop into the 20s tomorrow night. At least the warmth is starting to make an appearance in this area, so beautiful Spring days are on the way!

lex_jenkins
Selfies with new-used book I was thrilled to snag for $4 from Amazon: artist Thomas Allen's conceptual project "Uncovered" in which he uses an art knife to cut figures out of pulp fiction novels to create 3D pastiches. The juxtapositions are occasionally bawdy and amusing and often brilliantly conceived. This edition, in the board book format usually reserved for small kids who need sturdier books, adds a touch of nostalgia.

*
One of his earliest experiments caught the attention of book designer Chip Kidd who used it as the jacket art for an edition of James Ellroy's "Blood on the Moon". In turn, Kidd wrote the forward for Allen's book project. It's a nifty bit of meta-art:

*

And an obligatory Caturday pic.
*
All with Fuji X-A1. Top two with 16-50 kitzoom. Cat photo with 50/1.8 AF-D Nikkor via Fotasy adapter.
