POTW 12/21/2014 Ho Ho Ho

<p>Yes it's the week before Christmas.</p>

<p>I think all I want for Christmas is a little snow! I took the 600mm f5.6A out for a spin yesterday, but other than a lone Egret, I couldn't find much to photograph (light was poor too). Too much house work to do.<br /> I'll break with my tradition and put up four images, all from Kaikoura, South Island, New Zealand. All images were taken with a K3 and 55-300 DA lens</p>

<p>My main photo activity this week was running a "photo booth" at a "Dance Through the Decades", a church fund-raiser. These were shot with the K-5 and DA 16-45, with a Sigma slave flash bounced off a projection screen stage right.<br>

I took the dog on a little ski yesterday. Snow was pretty thin here near town but since then we have gotten another foot over night so it should be good to go now. <br>
