ted_campbell1
<p>Looks that the 24 exposure film remaining inventory is still available same with as Arista's premium 24 exposure rolls, smart asses please be aware instead of giving me a hard time.</p>
James G. Dainis
Mr. Campbell, no one is giving you a hard time, they keep asking the actual name of the film that you say has been discontinued and what source you have that confirms it. You may know what film you are talking about but unless you give an actual name like "Fujifilm 200" everyone else just has to guess. Be careful of calling people smart asses and starting unfounded rumors. James G. Dainis
Mike Gammill
<p>As long as the local Wal Mart stocks the Fuji Superia 200 (at around 8 USD for four 24 exp rolls) I'm happy. Although the 200 doesn't really gain much in finer grain over the 400, it is a few dollars less per four pack than the 400. That's why I buy it.</p>
larrydressler
<p> I am sorry this went on so long as i questioned it first. and no it is not dead and ORWO is still alive and making film just in a new place.<br> <img src=" alt="" /><br> <a href=" title="UN54028 by Larry D, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2946/15376224572_ebe0635af4.jpg" width="500" height="306" alt="UN54028"></a></p>
david_henderson
<p>You have to be pretty specific with Fuji, and Fuji's comms. don't always make that easy.</p> <ul> <li>A national distributor- usually Fuji itself, can discontinue a product that is still being made by the company</li> <li>A wholesaler in a country can discontinue a product that is still available and the retailers supplied by that wholesaler can tell their retail or online customers that its discontinued.</li> <li>A retailer or telephone/online sales outlet can stop selling a product and intimate to customers that the product is discontinued ( well it is, isn't it- they discontinued it themselves).</li> <li>The manufacturing unit can announce the cessation of manufacture and be less than clear about when (when packaging mats. run out? Now? Last year?) and exacerbate confusion by not indicating how long they expect existing stock to last.</li> <li>There can be major ambivalence about which packs, sizes, are affected.</li> </ul> <p>I've seen all of these and more happen in the last decade or so with Fuji. </p> <p> </p>

wblynch
<p>Not everyone wants the fastest film possible.<br> I am quite happy with ISO 100 or below color films. <br> I always felt that slow-speed color films have the most vibrant, rich colors. And that's what i want color film for.<br> But now, for reasonable cost consumer color films, the slowest we have is 200. I don't want to lose that.</p>

murrayatuptown
I see 100 packs of C200 on eBay at ridiculously low prices these days (Aug 2918), most, but not all from sellers in China & one other Asian country I forget. I found one US seller. Are people so eager to dump it now due to disinteres, or have I found another scam? Murray

wogears
I believe we are not allowed to post eBay links here, but ultrafineonline, a very reputable long-standing dealer has 50 rolls fresh-dated C200 24 exp for USD 110 incl. shipping. I have nothing to do with this dealer, except I bought stuff from them in the past.

James G. Dainis
Do not post links to eBay for your own auctions. That would be spam. Links to other auctions for informational purposes are okay. James G. Dainis
murrayatuptown
Obviously I meant to type 2018, not 2918. I hate touch screens. Thanks Murray
