david_pearce5
This must be a screen grab of an eBay sale.

It was part of a larger lot, with a Minox LX and some color and B&W film and the Minox box in which this camera is perched.

I actually bought this lot, and it is winging its way to me as I write. This little camera is labeled Japan.

I'll let you know more when I get it.

david_pearce5
I have received the lot I mentioned above. In cataloging the various films received, the one I am happiest about is a NIB "coffin box" of Minox ASA 25 B&W 50 EXP., completely MINT in its black wrapper inside the coffin, robed in its paper Minox sleeve!

Man, that is way back!

Would any experienced person help me? Do you think it is better to leave the film as a museum piece in its wrapper, or might it still be usable, which is what I would prefer, considering the slow speed and fine grain of the film. Is film as old as this may be still usable? What is the stability of old, unexposed film?

Thanks,
David,
Washington, D.C.
8x11
My experience with newly exposed customer film of this age is that the film is too old to get results from. But chances are that it has metal cassettes which are very handy. Related: dug up some very late kodak technical pan film I am cutting down to 8x11. I will test it and submit some results.
