James G. Dainis
Great model, greater photographer. I agree. She was one of the photographers who I admired. James G. Dainis
bethe_fisher
Yes, indeed, and I'm sorta surprised I haven't seen more mention of this. She really was a pioneer.
michaellinder
Ms. Yeager and I sort of grew up together, since we both have lived in south Florida for quite a while. Her exploration of then unknown artistic and photographic territory took a great deal of courage. For this as well as the amazing results of her craft, she will be sorely missed.
Robin Smith
Never sure why a grown woman would want to be known as "Bunny", but apart from that, a sad loss.
Robin Smith
Spearhead
I have a friend who most people know as "Bunny" rather than her real name. It's never been an issue. Many don't know her real name.

And she (Yeager) was a terrific photographer.
Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
lex_jenkins
Some amusing observations from a 1998 interview of Bettie Page:

"Bunny Yeager is the stingiest woman God ever placed on the face of the earth. When I started posing for her she had been a pin up model herself. I posed for her 2 or 3 hours at a stretch. I posed for her for nothing. She said she would pay me when the photos sold but I never saw a penny. She has sold books, bought a house and she wouldn’t even give me one free picture for my book. She said “Bettie Page has to pay for them like everyone else!”"
