hoi_kwong
I attended a wedding banquet last weekend. The new couples played their pre-wedding photo slideshow on big screen. On the slideshow, snow fall or light raining effect was added to the still picture slideshow to make it fancy and touching. The picture is still, only zoom it zoom out effect but the snow is falling... how can it be done ? Any specific slideshow software ?
Thanks.
MichaelChang
Basic photo slideshow software typically only transition from one photo to another. More sophisticated packages can layer video or photos over the slideshow.
https://www.google.ca/search?q=slideshow+software+layer+effect

More advanced effects can be made with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas.

eric_mark_palmer
Picturestoexe seems to be the software for AV's and the evaluation is free works like full paid for but has banner across the top. There are AV competitions and I have seen some really good examples. Proshow seems to the the other one used by many. Never tried it.
I have in the past used Flash and Picturestoexe works very like flash so I found it easy to use. However other have found it hard.
michael_jameson
I've been using Proshow for quite a time, good program, but costs a little too much for, imho.
I advise you to look into this program Smartshow 3D (link), btw it has free trial
