Got out over the weekend with the D800 and 60mm macro (or does Nikon call them micro...). The liverwort is with an LED ringlight on the lens, the Texas Spiny Lizard is available light. She was rather sluggish, so very cooperative.

Hm, beginner's mistake, I haven't been on Nikon Wednesday for a very long time and I've forgotten the correct way to send the photos. One more try.
I have a new kitten Maya, and I let her play with a brand new box. I love the mischievous look on her face, when she finally got hold of it.

Hope everyone stays safe and warm. Despite our unusually cold and dreary weather, I have some lovely little yellow visitors. Hope they brighten and warm your day.

Happy Wednesday Nikon people. It's been a while but having initially lost my way into last week's thread, I see the quality of photography is still top notch. A local photographer decided to migrate to M4/3 recently and has been steadily selling his irresistible Nikon kit. I got his Sigma 70-200 DG HSM EX OS this past Sunday. It's a heavy bugger but it seems very good and I'm yet to do any focus-adjustments on it. Here's one of the first few pictures with it featuring my 17 month old son running to wrestle the camera from me.

00cNc7-545483284.jpg.f8f601159c246e1d2c7ae8464052dccc.jpg

Hi everybody in Nikon-land, I've not been out doing any photography since I did the head shots so I have very little to present. But a few weeks ago my husband locked the dogs in the house while he did something in the driveway. Our youngest dog, still a puppy did something so cute I dashed for the D800 which luckily was on the kitchen table & I managed to get these three shots in of her. One I managed to delete in camera but I have the others. So, this is two different photos, three different types of processing.... I checked the rules & saw no problem with presenting this way so I hope it's ok with everyone, especially Shun & Lex. Past this all I have is Panoramas from August of last year that I'm working on. And for some reason I believe Panoramas are not to be presented here. Or have I got that wrong.....
