harry_hollander
I bought a rarely used Rolleiflex 6008i with 2.8/80mm PQS today, with two batteries.
After charging the batteries, the camera does not fire; instead, it briefly displays "be FULL" in the viewfinder and then "-r-". I have loaded a film; it makes no difference (and it does not spool to the first exposure). With or without lens, no difference.
I suspect the batteries are gone, but how to be sure, and what to do about them?

All the best,
Willem
fwstutterheim
I suspect you have the auto exposure selection knob on the left side of the camera on the green setting. That is for resetting the camera. Choose any other setting. That green position looks very attractive like the auto everything setting of some cameras. It is not.

My camera also shows that "-r-" sign on the green reset position.

Ferdi
