Found a bunch of these ladybugs on a bush in my back yard. I had never seen this type before, but it turns out they are 28 Spot Ladybugs, apparently a pest, eating leaves voraciously, rather than being helpful and eating aphids etc., the way the other types do. They are also about a third bigger, quite slow moving and only moved away if I got really close with my camera. In actual fact, when I was trying to get a shot of one facing me, he/she actually just turned around and settled back down. So a few shots of backs, rather than fronts later, one decided it had had enough of me disturbing it, and moved away, and gave me the shot I am posting today!

00c2Dv-542822184.jpg.dbada06dfcb923b489c3a429983e7e10.jpg
