How do I post pictures in the forum?

<p>One thing I do by mistake sometimes is hit return after entering the URL in the image box. Unfortunately, the default is Cancel, you have to hit Insert with your mouse to make it work. It would be nice if the default was changed to Insert (Josh: hint hint).</p>

<p>You've got a URL problem. This should be your image:<br>

Take out the "static" in the URL and it works just fine.</p>

<p>It's far better to either use an independent web host or use the photo.net galleries or post uploading. Even flickr has issues with posting here.</p>

<p>Many of us would prefer people to use the "add a picture" to post images, since that way, the post remains intact when the "fototygibbet" or whatever site post goes away. Go back and look at older posts and you see a fair number of former images that are marked "no longer available" or some such.</p>
