massimo_foti
This dates back to 2010, but I was so busy and took so many pictures that summer that I am still catching up with post-processing and archiving. I turned the RAW only last weekend, so I hope you don't mind if I consider it as "fresh" :-)
The place is Forte Bramafam, an italian fort near Bardonecchia, very close to the italian-french border. A group of volunteers is taking care of and restoring the place since a few years. The results are excellent. JRCrowe
The whole Pelican family. We had some big waves this last weekend on the west coast. That apparently brought a lot of food in for the Pelicans who were having a great day. The waves were crashing over the jetty in Oxnard. 5D Mk2 70-200 2.8L ISO 200 1/400 f/14

travismcgee
I'm finally home on a Thursday so I can post an image again. It's been awhile. I travel a lot on business and this is a photo of Palau from a couple of weeks ago. Palau is a small island in Micronesia, about 500 miles east of the Philippines. It's only about 7 degrees above the equator, so it's very tropical. It has some of the best snorkeling and SCUBA diving in the world. Cheers.
