johnfarrar
So landscape photography is all about planning - place, time and direction of sunset, etc. But how often does it work like that? On this occasion it did - the weather was kind. And then a rapid descent from the hill, racing the dark.

bms
Hello Nikonians, nice work. Jerry, Simon, Jeannean, Tom my of my favs so far (sure more are coming). Thanks to Doug and Jamie for your kind comments last week.

This week seems to have a portrait motif, unfortunately my last client asked not to publish any pictures before X-mas (present for mom), so I am posting a "test" shot with a Nikon AW100 (I did a mini hands on review). This is a neat camera for outdoors, however as you can probably see, not a stellar performer at higher ISOs.

DawsonPointers
Greetings from the depths of northern Ontario.
My 5 year old grand niece was turned into a 'chocolate zombie' on the occasion of my father's 90th birthday. My dad enjoyed the cake but Sarah really got into it. I notice how the camera makes her look much older than her age...or maybe it was the chocolate.
