Kodak Gold 400

Recommended Posts

Hello again!

I decided to try out Dick Sullivan's 1.5 volt conversion for Minolta SRT's soldering in a 1N5711 Schottky Diode. After doing the conversion and tweaking the exposure adjustment, I loaded my my SRT-102 and MC Rokkor-X PF f1.7 50mm with some old Kodak Gold 400 ASA that I had lying around.

I think the meter is working properly as the exposures seem to be good but, I noticed on some of the negs there is a dark "fade" on the right hand side. I think that the shutter curtain may be dragging so I'm going to have to open up the SRT again and do some more cleaning and lubing.

Anyway, here's a few shots from my "test" session -

Hi Jeff!
Thanks for your observations. I used this test session to see where the metering is at since I modified it. You are correct about the CLC metering, sometimes it gets "fooled"especially if there is something bright in the foreground.
