jeff_edwards3
I was wondering if you could use a MORSE G-3 16mm - 35mm developing tank to process several rolls of 35mm black and white still film.
I have used a similar unit to process 8mm cine film and I wasn't sure if it would work with standard film. Mostly because I remember constantly rolling the film back and forth with the cine film and with regular 35mm you only agitate the film a few seconds each min.

thank you
walter_degroot
yes I have a Morse G3 ( in the original box)
and the instructions that came with it
also a fil;e from the www.
seems like a lot of work, constantly turning those cranks back and forth
and being careful not to CINCH the film at the end.
The easiest are my old FR Special tankls yjasy hook the film at the end,. If you are reasonably careful not to kink or overlap the film it works properly
also the Morse tank requires more solution than a smaller tank

I bought mine with hopes of developing some movie film - 40 years ago.
it never happenes.
BTW if anyone needs original instructions I have them in PDF format.
Unlike my corrupted Besler files, I checked the More file recently.
.
chris_douglas1
Jeff,
I have used the Morse G3 to develop 16mm reversal and negative film. It would be possible to develop short lengths of film, but how would you splice the films together? If a splice broke during development, it would be a disaster.
Best regards,
Chris
