<p>I'm actually posting this week.... Shh! Don't tell anyone.</p>

<p>The family and I visited the Denver Botanical Gardens this past weekend. It was fun for me since I'd never been there. As a result I took the following 3 photos. I'm sure that ya'll that are nature photographers might cringe, but I enjoyed using the new DA35/2.4 on this trip. It probably won't be leaving my camera for a while.</p>

<p>Like your work all - stand outs for me are Matt's, Camus, and Haig's. I have two to contribute - one from the k20d on a foggy night across the paddock. On the other side of the paddock (which I've cropped out) is car yards with very bright lights! Great for helping in the lighting at night. Left the camera open for half a minute or so (can't remember now - it was cool so I didn't wanna muck around too much). It's photography I seldom have opportunity to do. </p><div></div>

<p>Second one is from the Panasonic Lumix which I'm using a lot - as it fits nicely in my pocket all the time! This is from King's Park in Perth, and I was just playing with some perspectives on what's called the DNA tower.</p><div></div>

<p>Thanks Nick! The "Sprutzz" happened during a break of the young fire fighters demonstration how to blow out a burning house. Instead the aimed at each other for some fun and refreshment :-)</p>

My faves:<br />Bob's opening shot. Great lines and nice strong blacks. Good stuff!<br />Frank's bottles. B&W seems like the right treatment for this image.<br />Haig's first. Great French countryside shot. Makes me think of paintings from the French masters.<br />Hin's first - love the lines!<br />Camus' wave. Great strong image and I love the repetition of the water texture in the clouds. Nice!<br>

<p>Here's my newest daughter, Delilah Rosa, holding my thumb, I know baby shots are pretty cliche but she's just really really cute!!! Man you sure forget how small they are. She was born on June 2nd and was a couple days old when I took this with the K20D, this is about a 200% crop.</p>
