I used my wife's Pansonix Lumix to capture this view of the Great Range from one of the 'Brothers' en route to Big Slide this past week. Guess I was a just a little lazy to carry my K10D in the high humidity, mud, and sweat, all of the things the K10D was built for and I have used it for. Maybe next time.
An old photo for this week from me, photographed this winter with the k5 I will post some current photos in the next weeks to come . The last 20 days has been the best for a long time with wildlife osprey, kestrels, green winged teals you name it I have seen it. I have taken 52 gigs of wildlife photos for the month of may!! I need a holiday from taking photos (who would have thought). I sat with this moose for some time snapping several good photos, this was one of my favourites as he was about to nimble on the aspen I grunted at which time he looked over at me and click.

Here's one I shot a few weeks ago, during our local photo club monthly get together, that I've converted to black & white, cropped and sharpened a bit. K7, DA40, 1/20 sec. at f/2.8, ISO 160.

This picture is nothing but I just wanted to contribute it in this weeks POW. Reason 1# Nazareth visited our little town in an even smaller PUB (Merry Can). 2# Dan McCafferty (and Pete Agnew) is 64 years old and that showed during the concert ....3# My second ever LP record that I bought was "Razamanaz" in 1972...I was 12 years old.....4# The Pentax K-5 at ISO 3200...wow...

00YqFk-366331684.jpg.8637905b9fddac07fcd1abb44f80434a.jpg

Kari - Rock on!
Matt - the campfire shot turned out very neat.
Markus - I like the shot of those people, they seem so happy and carefree. But what are they doing?

This one made me happy I had a WR combo:

00YqNK-366475584.jpg.bc4f03f897ae33d3a3d20ffbbe2700d0.jpg
