Good Nikon Wednesday, everyone. It was a holiday weekend here in the US, and public spaces were full of festivals of one type or another. My local town held its 23rd annual version of an event full of live music and good food, and these hep cats were part of the scene. Had your Nikon gear out with you at a party? Share a photo!

00Yool-364557584.jpg.f7b3bd9577dfb72d9678eab898fa5470.jpg

Using my number three backup camera. Nikon D50 with a 50mm F1.8 AF Nikkor, still does the job. This is a bit of an optical illusion. She is actually lowering the cart down a ramp and pulling back on it to keep it from getting away.

00Yop2-364571584.jpg.e8504f1c3753f102d3c915128493d06d.jpg

Good Morning Nikonistas,
Something Sporty today, friend Mountain Biking at Glentress in the Scottish Borders. I'd forgotten how challenging the lighting can get in a Forest! Hope you like...

Lorne Sunley -- nice shot!

Here is mine. This is 3-time world champion (1999, 2001, 2004) Oscar Freire climbing Sierra Road on May 18, 2011 as part of the Livermore-San Jose Stage of the Tour of California. I had the pleasure of riding with him in April 2007 in Belgium the day before the Ghent-Wevelgem race. You can see he is a world champion because he is entitled to wear the 5-color bands (green-yellow-black-red-blue) on his sleves and neck.

00YoqJ-364605584.jpg.cf2f74572753e11a8748a28bff0e9477.jpg
