frank_b._baiamonte
After looking at all 12 pages of images it was hard for me to decide what to post - so I just decided to continue with the black crowned night heron theme that was started towards the beginning. sebastianmoran
Good day to all.

This one from April in the Everglades. We headed directly to Shark Valley, usually a reliable spot for birds, but the weather had been dry and the birds were absent. We did find this young alligator. The little guy is just a little over one foot in length.

Young Alligator, Shark Valley, April 2011 -- D300, Nikkor 300mm f/4 ED-IF AF
