A happy Nikon Wednesday, everybody. I'm going straight for Cute Points this week, with a shot of a quarter horse filly - just 9 days old - that hadn't quite warmed up to me as I got started shooting, and was sticking with her mother. By the time I was done, we were good friends, and she was looking to eat everything on me - including my fingers, camera strap, and two different lens hoods. Had your Nikon gear out and vulnerable to similarly savage beasts? Share a photo!

00Ymar-362189584.jpg.8e7ee42b81af68bb22c899040b67b184.jpg

Great photos this morning. I have been working really hard these past couple of weeks and my pic today is from a Quinceanera I did on Saturday. The choreographer was happy with the results and caught this moment.

This water reflection was taken a few hours ago down by the banks of the St.Lawrence river here in Quebec. I was not looking for this kind of image but it found me. best regards to everyone,

00YmbF-362205584.jpg.eab4c1fd8c45f0031d778cbe9d1f4285.jpg

Romped my way to the top of Okanagan Mountain only to be deterred by waist deep snow. Found this young oregon grape still holding onto its winter crimson as I was ringing out my socks on the way back. Happy Wednesday world.

00YmbX-362217584.jpg.6f3ae321af7746ed67ea7694b0f7cd13.jpg

Went to Washington D.C. two weeks back for a three-day meeting, and did not find much opportunity to burn my film. Fortunately, I managed to capture our next xth president lying on the lawn in the front of the Capitol, dreaming of a golden age opened by his iron arms. And…I confess that I did take quite a few I-am-here-and-I-see-it pictures with my Canon P&S.

00Ymbp-362219584.jpg.653787fcd6f4fd9373778c3aafe55f65.jpg
