I'm going straight for Cute Points this week, with a shot of a quarter horse filly - just 9 days old - that hadn't quite warmed up to me as I got started shooting, and was sticking with her mother. By the time I was done, we were good friends, and she was looking to eat everything on me - including my fingers, camera strap, and two different lens hoods. Had your Nikon gear out and vulnerable to similarly savage beasts? Share a photo!

I have been working really hard these past couple of weeks and my pic today is from a Quinceanera I did on Saturday. wchen
Went to Washington D.C. two weeks back for a three-day meeting, and did not find much opportunity to burn my film. Fortunately, I managed to capture our next xth president lying on the lawn in the front of the Capitol, dreaming of a golden age opened by his iron arms. And…I confess that I did take quite a few I-am-here-and-I-see-it pictures with my Canon P&S.
