Kodak Elite Chrome 100 with Leica Summaron 35/3.5

Recommended Posts

In a previous thread on another Pnet forum Gus Lazzari showed us a disassembled Leica Summaron 35/3.5 (screw mount) before he did a CLA:

Disassembled Summaron lens

I am the happy customer who sent him the lens, along with a Voigtlander Bessa R3A. Gus also aligned the rangefinder so that the pair shows focus to infinity.

A couple of sample shots on Kodak Elite Chrome 100 are at
<a href=" Hills
and
Park scene
This one was taken through a Canon Serenar 85/2 shooting in the direction of the sun though below it:
Tree

(North Coast Photographic Services developed the film and ran the negatives through a Noritsu commercial scanner; I cropped and post-processed the results in Picture Window Pro and Raw Therapee.)

I've shot less than half a dozen rolls of film; it will be a long time before my photo.net name becomes obsolete. Suggestions welcome.

Earlier, a roll of Provia 100F through a Zeiss ZM Planar 50/2 also yielded a few decent shots, and I'd say Provia colors are more accurate than EC100, although still weak on yellow and strongly saturated.
