rafaeldelgado
Hello Canon Folk! I was really looking forward to a trip I had planned to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA this past Sunday. I wanted to finally really try out my new 16-35mm 2.8L II. When I realized the weather had different plans for me I thought, "Ok. I can't take pictures ABOVE ground so..."

5DmkII w/ 16-35mm 2.8L II
Taken at: 16mm, ISO1000, f2.8, 1/200s.

matti_kari
I caught this pair courting nearby open water spot. Otherwise Winter has still a strong hold. According the Wiki: " The Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus) is a large Northern Hemisphere swan. It is the Eurasian counterpart of the North American Trumpeter Swan." They are beautiful creatures and somehow make Spring and Summer seem more likely to come. 1D IIN 4/300 IS + 1.4 ext.

esfishdoc
I went out for a ride with my father in his new Mini Cooper. We found a spot along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, NC where I shot this.
He is 78 and I coached him along to get this pose. Canon 7D with a 10-22 shot wide to get the odd perspective.... a couple of flashes scattered about fired with cybersyncs. Post processed with a pass through Photomatix (single image) and then on to CS5 for a few tweaks.
