dennis_oconnor6
Hello everyone.
I have noticed some 'drying marks' on some B&W prints I processed, they look like 'grease marks' when held at an angle to the light, but they definitely are not. Does any member ever use a rinse aid on their prints?

Dennis

bob_sunley
If you have hard water, you can get spots. A quick final rinse with distilled water works, so does a squeegee, or blot them off with a lintless wiper.
jim_jones3
I eliminate beads of water by wiping RC or fiber prints on a clean towel stretched over a flat surface, and hang the prints to dry. Do the back of the print first, then the face. One hand moves the print slightly while the other applies pressure to the upper surface of the print.
dennis_oconnor6
It's RC paper MGIV. I usually squeegy before air drying. The water here is exceptionally hard. But I would have thought it would have left chalky deposits? Thanks for the suggestions.

dennis_oconnor6
I have found that adding '2' drops of 'Finish Dishwasher Aid' to about 300ml of De-ionized water in a developer tray and after washing the print, a quick soak (about 15 - 20 sec) with end to end lifting agitation followed by hanging the print with a clothes peg by one corner gives me lovely clean prints. No squeegy necessary.

Hope this helps someone.
