margatt
Are there any Photonetters out there who have actually taken a course in digital printing by/from a recognized institution or artist?
In particular I'm thinking of a course from Jon Cone, George DeWolfe, Maine Media Workshops, Santa Fe Workshops... What were your experiences like? What did you come away with?
Most any response and reply will be appreciated if not acknowledged. digitaldog
You want, the man! That be Mac Holbert who with Graham Nash started fine art digital printing when the others you mention didn’t know it existed (really). They started Nash Editions in 1991 using an Iris ink jet they bastardized to print fine art work. Mac does workshops from time to time.
http://www.rmacholbert.com/
Author “Color Management for Photographers" & "Photoshop CC Color Management" (pluralsight.com)

ellis_vener_photography
I agree with Andrew Rodney. Mac Holbert is a great printer, a fine photographer and an excellent teacher.
For those same qualities I also recommend John Paul Caponigro and Bill Atkinson.
