I'm a little late to the party, but it's still Thursday for a few more hours.
I had alot of fun shooting this football game for a few reasons. First off, the lighting is above average as HS football fields go. The teams , while not up there in the win's column, were very competitive, which made for great shooting opportunities.
So here's my post... and oh yeah...Canon 1d Mk IV with EF 300mm f2.8 IS

00XcVd-298071584.jpg.80d996a2016294be5d777dc1593758c9.jpg

I liked this one's classic form. I was shooting a different type of mushroom, dropped my remote control, and looked down to see this one growing under my chin.

Late this week as I was troubleshooting a web site issue for hours (ugh). Here's a tight crop from a shoot of some Dia De Los Muertos dancers in San Jose this Halloween day.
A cold morning with a lot of light.
I was particularly pleased with the reflected light on the right hand side - using hidden buildings to bounce diffused natural light onto shadowed surfaces.

I've been waiting to hopefully post a shot that I took this week, but I've been so busy that I haven't shot anything yet. So for the sake of posting to this thread, I'll reach back in the HD of my laptop and find something.

I took this shot of Bonanza over the summer. I liked the way the light hit her from the side and illuminated her tail, but she really hates it when I shoot her from the front; she says its not very flattering of her figure.

00XeV2-300265584.jpg.b4d448429edf62b91c89b1b62e40ed69.jpg
