mjferron
It's Friday. Now is the time to show some photos you have been getting with classic manual cameras that have not been gathering dust on a shelf. Remember to keep photos to no more than 700 pixels on the longest side and under 300 kb. Please limit submissions to three photos per person.

CoryAmmerman
Finally found some time to get out and shoot yesterday. I was testing out a Minolta XG-A that my dad asked me to acquire for him to replace one he used to have. I had to replace the light seals and clean some fungus out of the 50/2 that came with the camera. Unfortunately the shutter seems to be capping at the 1/1000 setting.

chuck_foreman1
These were done with a Voigtlaender Perkeo (triplet) The vignetting on the one picture is caused by me placing/taping a yellow filter that was bit too small. So even tough you use small apertures.. these things can cause problems! I need a passable filter! While this was for a similar FL (75/80mm), it physically was smaller.

rick_drawbridge
I ran a film through a newly-acquired Yashica TL Electro, capturing a few pics of the mother of our children for some Facebook thing, along with a few images of a more creative nature. Nice camera; the film was Fuji Superia 200 with scans from the Epson V700. Lenses are noted.

Mike Gammill
Three from Mississippi State University, which is where I earned both of my degrees. My oldest son bought a commemorative brick for our family and it was recently put in place as part of the stadium additions. Three images, each progressively closer. I used a Minolta XE-5 with Minolta MD 35-70 f3.5 and Ilford HP5+. Scanned with Epson V600.

Mike Gammill
Moving in a little closer. The 35-70 at its closest focus does have some barrel distortion at the 35mm end, but still sharp. Note that this lens is not the close focusing model that came later.

Mike Gammill
Zooming in to 70mm. Wasn't level so I cropped slightly to level the picture. At the same distance the 70mm setting avoids the barrel distortion. BTW, at the beginning of the week Mississippi State was ranked #1 in the AP poll. (Hope they can maintain that.)

allen_gara
Had a work trip to Paris last month. For some strange reason I took my newly acquired Ciro-Flex Model D (Rapax, Velostigmat 85mm). Two Americans in Paris? After scanning everything, I won't laugh at Triplets anymore.
