steve_rasmussen
I seem to prefer the old version of this film, to the new version. Has anyone seen it available in 220? I had quite a bit frozen but it is now gone.
sumo_kun
The old version in 220?? I don't think there is any around because it has been discontinued a while ago now and 220 never was popular. Maybe someone somewhere has some in deep storage but I doubt it.
roberto_manderioli
I also preferred the old version. I have tried several rolls of RVP50 now, I don't know if I run across an altered batch or what but the color palette seems to be a little different especially in the blues.
All in all I am not very satisfied by the new version maybe I am too spoiled by old RVP. Considering this and the scanning difficulty I may eventually switch to RDPIII ..
stephen_schoof1
I'm reluctant to question anyone else's judgement or aesthetics, but I shot the old Velvia for over 12 years and hundreds of rolls of the new since it came out, and I honestly can't see a difference.
