chris_hawkins
Why cant you take the originals and have them printed? Would you be willing to post one of your watermarked images? If so, we could give you specific ideas on removing the watermark.
ellis_vener_photography
Didn't you save the original files? if you are the photographer you know the answer to this question.
kelly_flanigan1
Even more fun is to place a second smaller watermark or your name in a harder to find area. Then one can catch the copycats easier. Mapmakers use this trick on maps; they add small features and document them. Then when the map is copied; there is documented unique feature that can be used as legal evidence. neila
Thanks for your help. i have kept the originals but was hoping to not have to re-do all the work i had done on the images - about 55 in total! I ended up phoning Digimark in the States and much to my relief i was informed that the actual digimark is only readable/visible with a digimark reader and so any prints that are to be produced were safe. I apologise for my ignorance but i am only a student and use this forum for education and learning purposes so if my questions seem naive or obvious it is because i am still training and acquiring knowledge that i hope will make me a better photographer.
