zack_rose
I gave my girlfriend a roll of Fuji Superia 400 to shoot in my 35mm camera (trusty Pentax K1000). Forgot to tell her that it was set at ISO 3200. She didn't notice and shot the roll at that setting.
The lab I bring my film to can push or pull film on request. I have done it before with black and white film with nice results.
How far can you push this film? Maybe just to 800 or 1600 would be ok if 3200 is too much? Obviously Superia is a very inexpensive film, so I don't know if it is designed for this kind of use (or abuse).

Thanks
Z
larrydressler
It will push that far but be ready for grain... not that bad and color shift not to mention Contrast..... 3 stops is pretty far the most I got out of it was 1600.

What do you have to lose? Your GF or her shots? :-)
zack_rose
I think I'll tell her to go for 1600. Maybe the results will be interesting.

Thanks!
andylynn
Better to try the extra push than be underexposed. I say push it.

xxloverxx
Prepare yourself for a lot of grain — I found Superia 400 quite grainy for a C41 film when shot at 400.
zack_rose
Yeah but it is a cheap film so I am fine with that. We were just shooting for fun nothing serious.

Thanks
Z

s_j_goffredi
Definately let us know how it goes, what the results are. I have shot and developed Reala (100 speed) at 800 and apart from the contrast there was not nearly as much difference as I would have expected. I would love to see how this one end up. As you say, it was just for fun - I am sure the results, whtever they are, will be that.
