paddy_macmahon1
Being on an economy drive I was recently comparing film prices here in the UK. Here are the cheapest deals I found, all based on ordering 20 ISO 100 films:

http://www.ag-photographic.co.uk/rollei-retro-100-35mm-36-20-rolls-757-p.asp

£31.50 delivered - £1.58 per film (Rollei Retro 100 aka Agfa APX100)

http://www.digitaltruth.com/uk/store/cart/Film-p-1-c-422.html
£46.75 delivered - £2.34 per film (Legacy Pro 100 aka Fuji Acros 100)

https://www.silverprint.co.uk/ProductByGroup.asp?PrGrp=2211
£38.96 delivered - £1.95 per film (Fomapan 100)

Anyone else hunted down any bargains in these recession hit times?
And what about developer - how can I most cheaply develop my 20 rolls of Rollei retro? I'm guessing Rodinal at 1+50...
giverin
That is a good price for the Rollei Retro 100. I've just paid £13 for 4 rolls of APX 100. I wish you had posted your link about a week ago ;-)
I use Rodinal 1+50 for my APX 100. I think I bought that from Silverprint along with some stop bath, fix and paper developer. That took the total over Silverprints £25 minimum order (why do they do that). I've still got some left but I think I'll be buying it elsewhere next time.
Anyway, I've bookmarked your link for the Rollei Retro 100, thanks.
david_cooper9
fab stuff paddy, thanks for the links... got me some rollei on its way. going to develop them with ilfosol (but don't that as wise advice.... its just what i've already got)
mirceaciuca
Paul, you should try this link before you buy any Agfa or Rollei ASA 100, even is not in UK, but is in Europe.
http://macodirect.de/rollei-retro-13536br20-filme-ablauf-2012-p-1691.html
29.80 euro for 20 rolls of film, this is a 1.49euro/roll. And a lot of offers.
And from UK I found Uk Fuji Labs, with good prices for Fuji film. http://www.fujilab.co.uk/catalog/index.php
giverin
Thanks Mircea but looking at the macrodirect website it seems that they have a 46.50 euro minimum order.
hoshisato
7dayshop.com has good deals for film and are tax free for orders under £20 and have free shipping: http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_1&products_id=8370
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cat=1&type=1180&man=34&filterwords=ilford&filterwordsalldb=1&go=SEARCH&comp=
They're shipping from Guernsey so the only drawback is that it usually takes a week for the films to arrive.
