rashed
All of my B/W films when I scan them using the Epson 750 scanner they turn to be gray, I have some friends here using the same scanner and their images turned balck and white rather than being gray tone all over the scanned image.
Is there a tune control process within this scanner, please ?

Thank you and wishing you all of the best.

lex_jenkins
The best practice when scanning b&w negatives or prints is to capture the full range of tones without clipping or excessive compression. The histogram feature in Vuescan helps with this. The result will often appear flat and lacking in contrast. The contrast is adjusted in post processing via any good photo editor. Occasionally some of my negatives and prints will scan well enough that no further adjustment is needed, but not often.
