Dell 3007wfp $999

<p>Costco now has the Dell 3007wfp for $999, is this still a good panel in todays market, it is an IPS panel made by LG I believe, here is the link to Costco<br>

<p>That link is for a 3007WFP-HC, which is a newer and better revision than the original 3007WFP. It's a couple years old but the color gamut is quite good and it's 8 bit per channel (yes I'm 90% sure it's an LG/Philips S-IPS). Out of box color is way too punchy - you must calibrate. At $999 it looks like a good deal - a normal price would be $1200.</p>

<p>If you don't need all that screen real estate and you're fond of Dell products, the <a href="http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Monitors/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=320-8277">24" Dell U2410</a> with IPS panel and 12 bit internal LUT is a much better value. They occasionally go on sale for under $500 USD, so for less than $999 you can buy 2!</p>
