jeannean_.
Here's "The Robber and The Fence" taken over the weekend. I was actually trying to catch a Blue Darner flying around, but it was darting too fast. I looked to my right from my "cover", and spotted this Robber fly hanging out on the fence just chilling. After I snapped the first pic, it turned and looked at me and this is the result (needs some post processing, but didn't have time to do more than the bare basics):

D90/Sigma 150mm 2.8, diffused SB600 flash

I would like to thank Roberta, Joseph and especially Richard for the comments on my photo last week. I also thought it looked like a painting and more so when I printed it on a canvass. My photo this morning was taken on Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. Nikon D300, Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 lens at f/18. 14mm 1/125 ISO 200 -2 EVC.

pvg photography
Happy WedNEsDAy to all!! I wanted to do something with a Fall feel to it, so I chose a shot that was taken over the weekend at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. The gardens themselves were built by Pierre Dupont, back in the early to mid 1900's and inculde a conservatory (greenhouse) of around 4 acres in size. This is a bonzai tree which is almost 100 years old and stands all of about 18in tall. I'll be back later to comment.

ray_rg
Good Morning WedNEsDAy :o)

EDIT: forgot to mention THanKs to Joseph & Roberta for the comment on my Picture in WedNEsDAy #42.

This picture was taken last WedNEsDAy after submitting my picture for WedNEsDAy #42, wanted to capture the fall colors at sunrise. I looked for this lake (this lake is drinking water resource for the town) details on the internet so that I can park my vehicle and using tripod can capture better picture but after driving to the place found that road can not be used for public. I was driving around the lake and found small bridge and kind of parking space so I parked my vehicle and took few pictures of the lake as soon as I can and in this I forgot to use tripod as well as cpl.

After downloading the picture I thought of making the HDR out of one image so changed the exposure in LR2 and using Photomatix made an HDR image.

I hope you all will like it.

Nikon D40, 18-200mm

Thanks,
Ray Gosalia
