steve_t.1
Nice shots, Bob. I just spent the last 6 nights watching the PBS Ken Burns doc. on the national parks. I think I'm going to quit my job and hit the road.

Anyway, here's my offering for the week. Low water around some sand bar islands on the Mississippi River a few miles north of Minneapolis. K20D, Sigma 18-55mm, polarizing filter.

shots worth sharing
So I've been thinking of selling my smc-k 200mm f2.5. I really haven't used it much since it's kind of redundant with the Voightlander 180mm & Sigma 70-200mm. I figured I should give it some more work before I do anything drastic though. I can't say these shots have really dissuaded me but I kind of like them.

shots worth sharing
I haven't figured out whether there's anything sharp in this one (but that would be user error r/t a failure of the lens ;~)

wtlwdwgn
Attended an Autumn Digital Photography class in Yellowstone last week and enjoyed the warm and beautiful fall weather at least until the last day. dawsonjm
I was in the Wallowa valley last week visiting my parents, and was able to get some pretty poor photos of the spawning Kokenee in the river flowing into Wallowa Lake. I was using an old Tamron Adaptal 80-210, model 103A, and focusing also turned the polarizer, so they weren't all pretty. One will give you the idea.
