<p>Nice shots, Bob. I just spent the last 6 nights watching the PBS Ken Burns doc. on the national parks. I think I'm going to quit my job and hit the road.</p>

<p>Anyway, here's my offering for the week. Low water around some sand bar islands on the Mississippi River a few miles north of Minneapolis. K20D, Sigma 18-55mm, polarizing filter.<br>

<p>So I've been thinking of selling my smc-k 200mm f2.5. I really haven't used it much since it's kind of redundant with the Voightlander 180mm & Sigma 70-200mm. I figured I should give it some more work before I do anything drastic though. I can't say these shots have really dissuaded me but I kind of like them. </p><div></div>

<p>Attended an Autumn Digital Photography class in Yellowstone last week and enjoyed the warm and beautiful fall weather at least until the last day. My favorite so far is Tony Evans's "Prairies Winter Scene".</p>

<p>I was in the Wallowa valley last week visiting my parents, and was able to get some pretty poor photos of the spawning Kokenee in the river flowing into Wallowa Lake. I was using an old Tamron Adaptal 80-210, model 103A, and focusing also turned the polarizer, so they weren't all pretty. One will give you the idea. </p>
