Thanks, Phil. Someone did answer on photrio and suggested I can as well consider laser printers as my needs are not much. For inkjets, he says all I need is "pigment" (not dye) inks.

I had been using a fine Epson photo-printer some years ago for printing transparencies as digital negatives. Unfortunately, I ruined it by a long neglect, which killed the head. Recently, I purchased a simpler Epson photo-printer (L805) which satisfies all my photo printing at home. To my surprise, it simply can not print transparencies (due to its printing technology&inks, I guess). I had no doubts, while buying it, that it could print digital negatives without problem. I costly mistake. Now, I do need to print digital negatives for cyanotype and perhaps for van Dykes (and, perhaps kallitypes). My budget is very low and I will be using the printer "only" for this particular purpose. The printer has to live happily with Linux, by the way. Locally, I can get a printer like HP Smart Tank 515 (or, 530) for example. Unfortunately, and to my surprise again, none of the current inkjet printers I can afford list transparency as a media they can print on (including the one above). I know that "some" inexpensive inkjet printers "can" print nicely on transparencies even when their specs fail to list it. But, I am not in a position to handle that risk. I should be most happy to hear some advice from people with more experience on printing digital negatives with current inkjets.

Hi Carlos. How I missed seeing your photos (as well as few other masters) here! In this age of production of a billion images per nanosecond, it is rare to come across ones like this. This seems to be related to your recent series of "invasion of the skies". Similar theme, on the ground. There is not much room for Eggleston's bicycle anymore... Still so charming, so childishly beautiful... perhaps only for children of an earlier age. -
I don't know how to dance. I could never learn it. Cha-cha might have been a first try as my mother loved it and she used to move pleasantly while singing... Mr. McRitchie makes it seem trivial by this image which shows (in detail, as usual) the directions and steps for all participants, human or otherwise. It is not! -
A vibrant jigsaw puzzle inviting the viewer to a partially imaginary child's room. There seems to be some happiness on the other side. -
This feels like the best therapy after image bombardment. Still looking at. No wonder I miss winter the most. -

It is not surprising to observe your never diminishing enthusiasm in using photography almost as a method of survival in these times. You continue to inspire me as an artist. Good to see you again. -

After a long hiatus, I returned to see the new PN and I have tried to look at some images selected automatically. Not to my surprise, the only image I stopped to look at was one of my friend's. One unmistakeably McRitchie. Jack, your images never fail to make me feel special or lucky. I have no idea how you cook them (pardon the verb), and I will not be asking for a recipe anyway. I just want to say that they always taste delicious. They somehow stimulate some neurons a few centimeters above my taste buds. Thank you, Jack.
